Is anyone else excited for this game to come out? Not only is it built to be an MMORPG like PSO episode 1 and 2, but it has a stand alone offline story-line.

Dude, I made a thread for this at least four months back.
Anyways, I've been waiting since it was announced. Looks to be pretty awesome. They had to double the servers in Japan within the first week because so many people bought it.
As for platforms, it's for PS2, PC, and X-bawks 360. However, only the PS2 and PC servers will be linked. But Ali, why are you asking, you hate PSO.
Anyway, BEASTS FTW!!! You'll find me on the PS2/PC version, swingin' my sword like a mo'fo'.

Ya know, I thought somebody had done a thread on this, but I had a sudden attack of laziness.
Heh... I just scrolled down and found it. ^^;; Boy, do I feel smart.

actually I was going for another way to make fun of the game, but then decided it would be better if I kept my mouth shut, especially since it would be me vs everyone else on this forum.

good analogy, I did that once as a kid, me and a friend started stomping on an anthill in his backyard, cuz you know when your kids you like to do stuff like that. Of course we were barefoot, and these were bull ants (the ones that are bigger than normal and have pincers the size of their heads, dont know if you have them in the US). Needless to say, they got angry, you know, all stirred up and everything, and then they started crawling up our feet and legs. And there we were trying to brush them off but every now and then one would manage to get up to our arms or hands, and we'd have to brush them off too. Eventually one obviously got pissed that the kid it was climbing was screaming and moving about so much, so it bit me, and boy was I bawling. Now Ive never gotten stung by a bee, but I imagine this hurt on about the same scale. I can tell you it stings more than a yellow jacket. Anyway, the moral of the story is last time I played godzilla with an anthill I came out with a sting and a smear of benadine under my band-aid.

Ah, the memories of trying to catch bumble bees with my bare hands. I'm proud to say I succeeded.

I find it funny that bees die when they sting you. It just shows who gets the last laugh!

If you laugh at watching insects die a rather painful death after their innards leak out their nether regions then I suppose so.

I dont know, doesnt the bee kind of get the last laugh? I mean its probably laughing at you as you scream in pain and agony, and then it dies, therefore getting the last laugh that counts. I mean unless you count laughing at someone when they cant hear you as getting the last laugh, but thats kind fo pathetic.

Bees don't laugh. They sacrifice their life to protect the hive.

I want to know how that evolved. Those who died protecting the hive would not live to breed and pass on their genes because, well, they're dead.
(Note: I'm not attacking evolution, I'm just idly wondering)
Oh, and I was able to play a "buccaneered" japanese version of the game. Despite the language barrier, I got a kick out of it. However, I still will miss the offline multiplayer. At least the monthly fees are supposed to be cheap, from what I hear.
