No seriously. You put it more better than I done. more better? and when I was agreeing, I meant to the mods thing. the baords were a bit spread out.

I think that degree of specialization is fine but only if and when we have enough people posting frequently enough to keep each board with a post thats been made within like. . . the last 3 days or so, but before then (ie. now) maybe just having one for each category would work out, then we can see what kind of material gets put up and specialize from there when the need arises I agree. More boards is not always a good thing, and we should create new ones if we need to split one board in two because it is overflowing. Otherwise we'll have boards where no one posts for months. Like JP said, we should be fairly certain that a board will be used frequently before making it.

Yeah, the layout is certainly rough but I had the idea in mind that we would get more members and the amount of boards would hopefully appeal to them. My second proposal is similar to the last, except that in each category it doesn't get genre specific. Like contemporary music and classical music would be one board. Etc.

Is this kind of stopping dead in its tracks or do people still care about this issue?

well, nothing in particular seems to be happening
I also find it funny that for all the random people you guys have invited to the facebook group, not a single one has actually like, you know, come here

Here's an idea we might be able to kick around a bit to draw more people and keep them active: Start a story-stick
The way it works is that someone starts writing the story, gets to a place thats a logical stopping point (like paragraph, chapter, event, et cetera) and passes it on to someone else like a relay.
One of the forums I was on used this and it had a pretty good turn out.

We had one like that before. It is in the museum thread under "Stones of Fate"
The sequel died though....

We had one like that before. It is in the museum thread under "Stones of Fate" The sequel died though.... << oops. kinda my fault there. I still have all my notes for it, but it's deader than Gina. The first one was fun, but the lack of involvement and major organization required for the second was a problem. And the people who did get into it... are not with us any more. Kes and Gina, mainly. They get their RPG kicks on Gaia. Problem with Gaia is that there are too many people and not enough braincells to go around. I'd prefer to keep this forum to people who know other people. Or get to know other people. To be an utter girl, the forum has sentimental value, and I half heartedly try to keep up with it because it's the people I don't see in forevers. I think what bezzerkker is suggesting is not an RPG but a round robin. Where someone starts a story, and the next person directs where the story goes in their passage. Doesn't have to make sense, can kill off people without anyone protesting too much. Good fun. ^~

Yeah, that is how it turned out, even though all of us in the group were avid RPers at the time, we thought it would be fun to toss around multiple characters and for us to create a world. It fell apart mainly because there were a few too many characters and the person the "baton" was passed to last hasn't signed on in years.

ok, now Im starting to regret the facebook group, I mean look at who it brought back! Seconded, though I have been curious as to whether you've even been alive all this time. Figured out Donald Trump is a miserable failure of a human being yet?
