151 is disgusting.. I swore it off when I spilled some and thought Id spilled bleach the next morning. If it strips the tint off the shot glass, it cant be good for me. Oh, and I voted for wine because its got more alcohol per volume, and its cheaper. You can buy a whole bottle of decent wine for $3 in France. Beer drinkers are pussies who think that drinking 2 cans of beer makes them look like they can hold more liquor than 2 glasses of wine. Oh, and even bad wine tastes better than Heineken, although I do enjoy a good beer, especially a good dark ale. who cares? Beer is better, and I'd willingly pay more and drink more to get the same alcohol amount in me because I think it's worth it.

I'm not sure if I should be piping up about underage drinking or not. I'll leave it to Pavel since it's his forum. I don't really drink, but if I did it would be wine. Not so much a fan of how beer tastes. We're all at least 24 years old man. Oh and I too would gladly pay more and drink more for the same drug effect. Especially if it's good beer. Wine is cool but it's just not as refreshing.

Wine is more cultured than beer, therefore -- wine wins.
Beer and cheese? No thanks. Beer tasting? Only in college frats. Does beer ferment in kick-ass caves? Does aged beer cost millions of dollars?

Frangelico and vanilla rum tastes like chocolate cake doused in alcohol.
But I don't drink. I sip.

I cant believe you drink 151 straight and enjoy it. You sure you arent talking about a Bacardi Breezer or something? or whatever you call that alcoholic soft drink? I think 151 is like drinking paint thinner, only it probably tastes worse.
Anyway, I enjoy a good beer as much as anything, and you may be right henry, a good beer is cheaper than an expensive wine. But a cheap wine is a million times better than a cheap beer, white wine is great chilled, sex and red meat go great with wine, and the manliest men I know drink wine more than beer. Beer's only redeeming quality is that its thirst-quenching because, to tell the truth its more water than alcohol. Thats why you're always served a glass of wine and a glass of water together.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bacardi_151www.drinksmixer.com/desc185.htmlwww.rateitall.com/i-7605-bacardi-151.aspxyes, i am talking about bacardi 151. 75.5% alcohol by volume. has the little cap thing on the top of the bottle when you open it. tastes like liquid hell. yes, the very one! and yes, i drink it straight out of the bottle, and i do enjoy it. the first couple of swigs are (obviously) the worst of the batch, but by that point you take a break, let the warmness fill you up, and go at it again! 1/3 of a bottle in 45 minutes! good stuff... good stuff... the only thing that ive had that was worse than 151 was this 96% vodka (192 proof). almost straight alcohol. this stuff was ridiculous. it pretty much evaporated when it touched your tongue, immediately your face felt like it was on fire, then your whole head felt that, and then you felt it slide down your throat. blech, that stuff was the worst...
