Its one of the two aims of good writing; to confuse the reader or to make them think you are profound by BSing and leave a lot of symbolism for them to interpret your piece in ways you had never dreamed. I've always wanted to write, publish, and publicize a completely BS story - for the sole purpose of seeing what twisted theories literature critics can come up with... ;D

Critic: "His self defeating transcendentalist motives almost tinge of Naturalism, uniting him with nature in his blind unwillingness to oppose the currents of society." Me:

Actually, I don't mind critics all that much. They're often pretty smart. What I DO hate, however, is when a text is dissected to the point where EVERY object, motion, and nuance has to mean something.

Eh. I tend to listen to reviews, but IMDB usually accounts for the majority vote.

I've never heard of critics liking football movies. Which ones have you been listening to?
By the way, the last two Matrixes ARE supposed to suck. Both critics and moviegoers agree.

Matrix 2 and 3 didn't completely suck, but were a rather sad venture in capitalism compared to the first one. The original Matrix was pure genius, and will forever be reffered to as a groundbreaking movie. However, now there will always be someone to point out what a disapointment the second two movies were when compared to the first.
As for football movies, it's usually safe to completely ignore them, except for Water Boy.
