The age old question: How are women and men different emotionally and/or mentally/ personality wise?

Men tend not to be as emotional as women. Men keep most of it inside and women express it as much as possible.
Everyone says that a woman's mind is more complex than a man. I find truth in this, men tend to keep things short and simple, while women usually make things more complicated than they have to be. They might do this for the drama, and with more drama, comes more emotion!
Women tend to have more active personalities then men. They usually hang out with friends more often, and talk a mile a minute. When men hang out, it's usually not as often, and they just... chill...
This post is not meant to offend anyone, if it does, I'm sorry.
Yes, that was just to cover my butt, but still, seriously people...

I can only say how different thwey are physically...... but I'll try: Women tend to be more likie...open, and, like, can feel certain things emeotuinally that men cannot. and like yah. They have an \exuse to be pissy too, lol. Men are like more closed, and shit. and don't exepress tyhir feelings well, or at all, lol. Howver, who here is familliar with the term Metrosexual?

That's a good physical description right there, Terrance! Using your definition of men and women, Metrosexuals can be defined as guys with nuts and a pissy (or just being pissy).

Men and women have different natural roles, and subsequently their personalities evolved differently.
Women tend to be caring and motherly and with a great capacity to love, because that fits with their role of raising children.
Men tend to be more emotionally dry, because they fight a lot (or compete), and that requires a degree of ruthlessness and emotional detachment.
I guess metrosexuals are extra flexible in this sense, because they can shift between both extremes. But you can't really pinpoint this, because people are never not cookie-cut masculine or feminine. It's all very subjective.

Yes...much of that is true. However, there are always exceptions.

Isn't a metrosexual a guy who's heterosexual, but in touch more with himself. He cares about personal hygiene etc...actually, there was this article that I just skimmed recently in one of the few magazines in this Maui house... Men's Health. A magazine for men, but when you're bored, you take what you get.

The way you put it, metrosexuals are an exception to other guys in that they value hygiene and actually take showers once in a while. <-- I really like this emoticon!

Too put it more better said perhaps, a meterosexual is a guy who is really in touch with his feminine side. A guy who ACTS gay, but ISN'T gay.
Just for some extra clairification

hokai, I don't think I'd be in touch with my feminine side... not even too sure I have one, I'm just comfortable and in touch with who I am in general, and I have never touched my feminine side (I think that may be illegal without consent ) and I have never met my inner child, but that is off topic
