I think the point is to be faithful not to have evidence be the sole reason.

And thus, no logical argument for the existance of God will come from a faithful believer.
P.S. As already stated, belief in evolution need not be affiliated with a person's belief or disbelief in God or Gods.

Yeah I know. Jeff pointed that out to me earlier. I saw on the Darwin Awards forum a site to a pro-creationist site. www.chick.com/reading/tracts/0055/0055_01.aspI must say that I disagree with the comic. I was wondering what the rest of the forum thought about it.

I especially like how nobody acts like a real human being. I also like how the teacher is portrayed as physically unnattractive and out of style, the evolution-believing students portrayed as foolish and physically unnattractive, and the one 'creationist' student is young and significantly more attractive than the rest.
Besides that, many of the creationist student's points are invalid. He says that the tailbone is not vestigial because it "has nine muscles attached to it," and he says that vestigial organs defy evolution because "isn't losing something the opposite of evolution." He also declares that "Gluons are a made-up dream. Nobody has ever seen or measured them...they don't exist! It's a desperate dream to explain away the truth!" - and yet, his reasons are hold true for God as well.

I totally agree. This site also is disrespecful of other religions and fanatically tries to convert you in their other comics.
I have actually gone through the panels of the comic, disproving the points the author makes but I won't post it unless someone wants to see it.

Tell me about it. What is worse is that this is one of the milder comics that the fanatic has posted there. It is people like the ones that wrote that comic that give other Christians a bad name.

Nothing shameful about that. Just politelty refer them to the information in question. In this case it is this comic: www.chick.com/reading/tracts/0055/0055_01.aspBrace yourself. This is from a fundamentalist website. Toxic stuff it is.

personally.... i think chick publications is a tad bit theologically off somehow.... i don't know why, i didn't see much of anything that was terribly wrong, but my overall impression i didn't really like...
