if something ever happens to that mod you always need a back up. Plus, I dont think that even in its hey day, the forum always got more than 5 candidates, but back then there were 3 mods. I think 2 is a good number proportionate to the amount of active forumbums.

Maybe so; but let's not forget about Pavel. I'm not sure... 2 per 4 doesn't seem very competative to me.

dont think about it as 2 per 4 candidates. think about it as 2 mods for 8-10 members.

Exactly, and even the most active member has the potential to suddenly drop everything for some essay midterm thats due in the next coupla days. Or there could be a flame war, and traditionally, flame wars happen very fast, response after response, not allowing much time for an idle mod to get around to checking the forum

i agree with ali here, i don't really think that thinking of it as 2 mods per 4 candidates makes as much sense as 2 mods per 8-10 members

I think we're all in agreement, then, that we keep the status quo in terms of mod numbers?

fuhrer=leader, such as a governer Gropen=groping. Say it out loud a few times. This makes a "Gropingleader" reffering to Schwarzeneggar's earlier movies which are only family appropriate if you happen to be in the Manson family.
