Very nice. Of course, it's hard to rate the plot since it's not very far along, but it should be quite good.

Wow! Very nice. The shift from colored to not so colored can be confusing though. The "player" thing helped out, but the problem is you dont have the picture for the guy, and the one for the "timeless" person (who I dont believe has been introduced yet) is broken.
To fix this my suggestion would be for the future, make sure to make each character look very different in black and white. The easiest way to do this is through hair style. Really the only part where you havent done this so far is the very first one where the ice king and the boy look the same. Maybe thats because they are supposed to, but it confused me a little, and made me think that the red-headed version of the character was not the same as the one in the previous comic. Other than that (and the fact that I have no idea where the comic is going yet) Its a great start! Not to mention the artwork is amazing. Im jealous.

Cool! Are you going to use it for your senior project? I might, unless I come up with a better idea, I don't really want to have 3 comics going at once (ice, senior project, and anime club) so one of these three will end up being something I've already made (lazy). Arachis...You're not the first person to tell my characters look alike. Sigh. So far one friend is convinced that the Ice Queen and Liz are one and the same, but I have yet to hear about the ice king and Bern being the same. Sorry. I'll also try to get their names said more often, to clarify who is who. But the ice king is dead, so no worries...I think.

I have an idea! Perhaps you could always leave the characters' eye colours or hair colours in, even during black and white sequences. This will identify them and serve as symbols of their personalities.

You need to tell me about the anime club one! Considering I'd be happy to randomly draw pages because it'd be fun ~*~Me

now that I look back through it, I actually orginially thought that Istas was the ice king (since she had the blue eyes, and I didnt look closely at one of the last pictures) and that the ice king was bern (but that it was bern speaking and killing the ice king). That made me think that it was bern who had stolen the ice kings powers, (or whatever he stole) and I was confused by the whole "queen" thing since bern is a guy. All three of the characters there have the exact same hair cut!
*edit edit edit* now I realize..... in page 2 I was right, the person with blue eyes was the ice king, but in page 3, it is switched since it is then that Istas takes the ice kings powers! now I finally get it but it did take a while.

I AM SORRY ALY MY CHARACTERS ARE ALL IDENTICAL. (are they really? help!) The colouring-consistently thing would probably be a good thing...At first, the colouring was significant in some way. The blue to signify ice, the brown for early morning, the green for the outdoors...But I guess that is kind of confusing. Shannon: there is an anthology of sorts for members...Sorry amiga. I could try to sneak you in if all the other entries suck.

personally I like the variation in coloring... but sometimes it does get a little confusing (like why does chana have white hair in comic 8 but the other girl have darker hair? what color is darker than red (other than black) to be so grey? and if she did have black, why not make it a purer black instead of grey?
The main problem for me was the ice king/queen/bern. They all look quite similar. the different colored eyes helps, but it doesnt eliminate the possibility that bern is the king/queen in a dream, or that his eyes randomly change colors. unless you make one of their faces completely different, its really the hair that counts. If the Ice queen had much longer hair I think that it would all be much easier, and any confusion would be gone, but that would mean editing/redrawing the first two pages.
Other than that, it took me three reads through the comic to understand even basically whats happening. If you could fill in the details a bit for the reader by being a bit more specific (at least in the beginning) that would help out a lot. Personally, the trouble I had was about the Desasperas job, and why they were going into that persons house (until i realized they were related)...

Ali brought up a good point with color conversion to black and white. Red should always be colored a dark color when converted to black and white, because that's actually what happens. Of course, red hair is technically orange-brown, but I'd recomend using a dark grey. Let's see if I can remember the color ranking: Darkest Red Purple Blue Brown Orange (light, it would be darker for 'red' hair) Green Yellow Lightest It goes something like that.
Similarity will always be a problem, unless yoiu make it to the professional level. Just from looking at comics in general, people tend to get a style and stick to it too much, leaving little room for variation. I don't think it's a huge deal in this comic though, I can tell the characters apart rather well.
