Friends and enemies;
I am on a quest to find great music. I really want to see the different styles of different bands out there.
So far I'm listening to Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Rammstein, System of a Down, Metallica, Scatman. Also looking at Nightwish.
What are some good bands that are worth listening to?

your uhm slection is so.... expansive.... That's not everything of course! Those are just the ones I respect enough to get full albums of 'cuz I'm confident they're great in most songs. Queen is nice. I don't particularly like the Beatles, they're too upbeat.

If you don't like upbeat, I recomend listening to Jekyll and Hyde. I realize that it's not a "band" But it's 31 songs of WONDERFUL music! I can direct you to the correct version of the CD if you want ~*~Me

DDT (Russian band, pretty nice imo) Zemfira - sings wonderuflly. Not so good with lyrics. Linda (Pretty sure you listened to her (Little Girl?)). Good music, nice voice, not so good with lyrics. Ditto on Evanesence - Although she shouldn't yell, quiet songs come out better for her (My Immortal, Hello), but others are very nice, too.

Ooh, lots and lots. Thanks you guys!
And, yeah, I've listened to DDT - they're cool! But I'm not really into Russian music...
Hey, you guys should check out 10CC - they're a neat band, listen to "People in Love" and "I'm Not in Love."

BOA's okay. Not really my favorite type of music, but not bad.
More fun and exciting recomendations:
Eels Badly Drawn Boy The Clash Crosby, Stills and Nash Cream Fleetwood Mac Sigur Ros (forget if I suggested them or not) Fra-Foa Loreena Mckennit <-- she does very celtic-y type music. not rock, but spiffy if you like that sort of thing Joni Mitchell Indigo Girls
