Believe it or not but every country I know of has their own music scene. There's Spanish rap, Italian pop, Japanese punk rock, Korean boy bands. Some sound funny to us, but some bands actually have talent. Actually, in some countries I find the ratio to be slightly higher than in America because a lot of American music these days is very overproduced Often times when a language is sung it sounds quite different from when it is spoken.

I have acutally seen a Chinese person rap. It sounded a bit strange.

chinese rap is probably understandable (altho i DONT wanna hear that) but russian rap! some1 plz tell them they sound like idiots!
and im sure other cultures r interesting, but i've got my own thank you and there's plenty of american music to keep me busy

but youy haven't heard anything till you've heard someone rap in chinese about all the different perl modules you can download off of CPAN and doing a parody of "these are a few of my favorite things" on the same. >_<
