This game rocks, it rocks hard. I picked it up and almost haven't been able to put it down. It's by far one of the best traditional RPGs I've played in years. The style is superb and it pulls the modern setting off extremely well with very engaging characters. The music is increadible, which is unsurprising considering the composer's history, and the voice acting is so good that even where the occasional corny line pops up it doesn't stand out as particularly jarring. It's gotten great reviews, and it'll probably be the final (totally awesome) gasp of the PS2. So go buy it and blow your brains out. www.atlus.com/persona3/

Great! I have not played a good RPG in years. I will definitely try to pick this title up. I just hope it does not kill my grades

Atlus tends to be hit and miss, but there games always have a few aspects that make them really stand out. Sometimes, they even nail it and come out with something awesome. Unfortunately, you need to be careful because they publish some really shitty games for other smaller companies.
For the record, P3 is part of a series of RPGs called Shin Megami Tensei which have similar themes and art styles. Thanks to some iffy translations, the games tend to be confused as very satanic, but what are often reffered to as demons are often supernatural or divine creatures or demigods (including demons) lumped under one classification. I missed out on Digital Devil Saga which was supposed to be good, but not great. I can't wait to see how the series evolves on the next (maybe 'current' at this point) generation of consoles. Nobody cared I know, but I like to blurb.
