I know that nobody here is interested, but since Nick mentioned Mugen, I figured I would plug a game Ive been playing. Stepmania is DDR for the computer. You can either use the keyboard or buy a USB DDR pad for $10 - 40.
Theres lots of songs you can download out there, there's all of the original DDR songs, inclduding lots of custom songs ranging from Megaman music to techno/dance (like Sandstorm or others), to remixed versions of Classical music. Because its easier to step (create the arrow maps) electronic music, most of the music is electronic (although synthesizers have gotten so good these days that sometimes you can hardly tell that its an electronic violin or flute).
In my opinion its kind of a game with an acquired taste, since its easy to pick up, suck at it, and then forget about it, but after a bit of practice its a fun game and for me one of the only times in the day I actually listen to music.
Even though its a simple game theres a lot of customization, and even online play where you can compete against friends. If anyone wants to actually try it out I can hook you up with just about everything you need.

Using the keyboard is like DDR without the exercise. Never was a fan of these types of games, not enough zombies.

Nor enough shooting of said zombies. If I'm going to go to an arcade, I should at least be rewarded by the opportunity to descrate walking corpses!

right.. at this point your getting as much exercise as if you were playing an fps. Thats not the point (unless you actually buy a pad). And if your worried about it being too easy, well its not. If you get really good you might even be able to pass songs like www.youtube.com/watch?v=VV61Rn-oxvQ . As far as zombies go.. Im sure I could find a couple songs with Zombie backgrounds

Ok, so there should totally be a DDR-Zombie game hybrid. For every arrow you hit correctly = automatic shot to the skull, but you have to keep up with the dancing pace or you'll be zombie food before you can "Drop Out".
