there were never any problems with 2v2
1v1v1 sucks pretty much no matter what you do because whoever makes the first move either attacks both other players or one other player. If its both, they both kick his ass as its quickly 2v1, if he attacks one, the 3rd player decides who dies first and then usually wins.

I guess when you look at it that way. Have you noticed though how miniatures games a) take forever? and b) dont usually work as well when its 1v1v1 or 2v2 or whatever? Maybe Im dreaming too much of a really good online fighting game that will never exist. They only take a long time when SOMEBODY takes too long building army lists. Regardless, most of the games I play now take less than an hour to finish. It depends on how well you know the rules and understand the associated tactics with each race. Even if the races could intermingle, it would still be 1v1. Each side would consist of multiple races. Unless all the races function identically in each class, right now they're just limiting themselves. This isn't online chess.
