I almost gave up on this game, for a while it dropped off the face of the earth. Nice to have a good FPS that was developed outside of the states, east Europe seems to churn out POS games, usually FPS. When something even decent comes out it's cause for celebration.

I'm about. . .6-9 hours off from. . . . acquiring. . . .the game
I'm looking forward to playing it, seems like something newish
bonus points for being available for. . . acquiring. . . before the game was even released

download finis-I mean I just got back from buying it at. . . . .fry's, yea, fry's
now to run random .exes until it works
update:
got it running, very, very good game, though difficult at first. . . saving often is key as you will occaisonally get owned by something you didn't even see and having to start over from an old save can suck

I really really really want to play this game, but my laptop display won't do it justice, and my desktop video card has been acting funny... for the past 2 years. Fuck.
Thank goodness for BFG's lifetime warranty. Time to give 'em a call, I guess...

I'm having trouble with the part after where you rescue mole and have to go down into the really dark area. . .I keep getting owned. . . .nades help a lot but even if I clear almost all of them one guy decides to camp around a corner with a shotgun and invariably shoots before I can kill him, thus one-shotting my ass

prison? I dunno I never saw anyone in prison.
I've found that if you scavenge and loot bodies whenever you can you end up with waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more pistol ammo and healing items that you should ever really need. I had something like 1500 pistol rounds and I dumped all but 500 or so of it in one of the stashes near the start. . .probably never gonna go back and get it later, too much of a walk

yea the fast shooting AKM something or other. pretty good but I don't notice that much of a difference from the normal AKM because I think the automatic firing is bugged, though I don't mind.
sure, having a backup weapon is great and all, but come on, just 500 rounds is 62 and a half reloads for the starting pistol, less if you get the better ukrainian one (or the prototype of that one that I picked up from the military guarding the zone entrance in the first area)
sounds cool, I'll try and find the prison some time. . . right now though I need to get past some dogs that're running around outside the Duty base, got the documents from the military research place etc. . . etc. . .
btw, when you come out of the underground area, after that weird guy (can you kill him? are you supposed to kill him? does he even hurt you?), you'll be RIGHT in the middle of the military base and if you don't get somewhere good you will get spanked very very quickly. there should be 2 military guys that you can kill easily enough right where you pop out, after that find a nearby tower and climb up it. for some reason enemies suck ass and doing much of anything to you if you're in a high spot, so you can take out like 10-15 enemies without getting too hurt, which is neccesary in the research place cause its crawling with them

very bizarre. . . . I hope that hes not a central part of the game because this game would be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better if there was no real central element

heh, yea, sometimes you cripple people but don't quite kill them
its like that ally at the beginning who asks you to take the medkit off the dead guy and give it to him
I'm somewhat dissapointed with the part I'm at now, going into a secret lab area to retrieve more experiment documents and now there are really really unrealistically things happening like a flying pelvis that attacks you

headcrab? what area? I haven't seen anything that I'd describe as a headcrab
from what I can tell so far, the game is great until you have to go into any type of underground area, then its a pain. actually, mutants in general are a pain because theres no way to gauge what they do until you fight one, and there seem to be a lot of different types.

so lame. . . . .I got quite far on the 3rd lab bit and while I was looting bodies two enemies just. . . . I'd like to say they randomly shambled their way into me but they seriously just spawned on top of my and buttfucked me. I just looked down a loot a body, looked up, and boom, 2 random new enemies just standing there staring at me.
stupid zombies.

OH
those're pigs.
Yea, I know, like hell they are, but thats what the game calls them. . . mutated pigs called Flesh.

at that angle I guess but if you see them running around or look up close they basically look like extremely overweight pigs with deformed legs/feet with more or less the front half of their body crammed into the middle area
random note: they don't generally attack as they're supposedly herbivores but if they're hungry they can and will try to eat you
personally pseudo dogs look more strange. . .and I freaking hate snorks

I think I might've actually made it near the end of the game. . . . I really hope I haven't but it might be the case. . .anyways, after my two finals tommorow I'll be able to find out
