This is not some stupid thread about "new year's resolutions". I have found that those are the things we tell ourselves we will do, but they are always forgotten. A goal is actually something attainable, and it is something very important. While it is certainly important to be yourself, it is also very important to try to become a better person. So, what is your goal for the year 2005?

- Make time for reading for pleasure. This sounds trite but I find that it relaxes me, focuses me, and makes me happy. I didn't have any time last term and feel like I should change that

I want to get to bed earlier every day. Lately, I have been getting to bed a bit late which means I wake up late too. If I can free up time in the morning, then I might be able to use for something else. Furthermore, this might be more healthy for me. Towards the end of the last semester, my health wasn't as good as I wanted... I also want to be more indepedent and less afraid of doing something new. I figure I will have to do this eventually, even though I have been trying to avoid new things for a great deal of my life.

For my new years resolution, I, um, haven't really thought of anything. I would like to learn how to draw people better though, and eventually learn to draw/write comics.

I want to drop my lethargy and perfect my abilities. Maybe I'll even have something to brag about (eventually) ;D

I have no goals whatsoever. Whatever you call them, goals or resolutions, people always end up forgetting about them.

I resolve to do... something. Yeah, that sounds general enough to accomplish. ;D
