Now this is quite a broad topic. A few clarifications: -By dreams, I mean what you see when you sleep, not general aspirations or goals. Yup.

Dreams Vs Realty eh.... Well to some people the American Dream is to own a huge mansion in Lost Altos Hills, Long Island, or even Linden Hills. However, very rarely do they acheive those dreams, since Realty and real estate prices have always remained too high in those areas. This creates a struggle where the poor attempt to get richer. However as we all know, One things sure and nothings surer, The rich get richer and the poor get children. This creates a constant struggle between the poor and the obstacle that has tradionally come between them and their dreams, The rich. Haha...the rich get children too!! Besides, if I marry a musican (which I surely will), I'll be poor but RESPONSIBLE about having children. But that's just me... ;D Remember, this is about dreaming when you SLEEP, though. Not that I didn't mind that comment about general dreams. I hadn't really thought of the American dream before...seeing as I'm blonde and white and pretty much as american as it gets... The American Dream...I suppose it's different for everyone.

Exactly. (I was trying to work with the semi-off-topic-ness.) But back to the issue. And another thing: What about daydreams? Are those easier to control, and if so, are they generally fantasies that you wish could come true? I often daydream about guys... okay this smiley is REALLY amusing
