Hello, you all know me as current C-Lair forum moderator KillinKrillan. I do a good job, and you know it.
Here is what I will do:
I'll make sure spam is deleted and all that great stuff. I'll make mention of you in the news fader if you want I'll be unbiased and fair to all. I won't abuse my powers.
Here is why you should all vote for me:
Most of you did it once, it would be a shame to break tradition. You like me. I have good grammar.
And on a side note, I help keep entertainment seeing as Aenarion will probably spot a punctuation/grammatical error within my post giving everyone something semi interesting to read as we duke it out.

Well since you asked me so nicely... I guess I will play my part.
First of all, if you want to be grammatically correct, there ought to be an 'and' between the "good job", and the "you know it."
Since I demand consistency, you missed an apostraphe in "wont". Although I dont use apostraphes myself, I am consistent about it.
You missed an 'it', before the "would be a shame".
You can cross out the "how" in "seeing as how Aenarion"...
These are your mistakes.... If you are going to advertise to the world your grammar, try to improve it. I would have expected you to have made an even greater effort knowing that I would be breaking down your post anyway.
Now since I am in the mood, I will break down your argument too.
You repeat yourself. In essence when you tell us what you will do you are in fact telling us why we should vote for you.
We have voted for many people once, so would you have us vote for every other moderator again for the sake of tradition?
And... well, thats all for this time. You have improved.... but you have not improved enough.

Just for the record, (even if they are my own) the above mistakes are all true, and have been corrected.
I'll find mistakes in his post tomorrow when I'm well rested and better suited for the job.

So you're going to mention everyone who wants to be mentioned in the news fader?
Bribery!
edit: how ironic that you said you wouldn't abuse your powers right after that.

For example: Aenarion wanted advertisement of the chess club just as the book club has. I put it in the news fader for him.

We have voted for many people once, so would you have us vote for every other moderator again for the sake of tradition? Very good. I could not find any true errors in your post. I invite anyone who wishes to find one that I could not.
I have, however, quoted one of your paragraphs simply because I did not like the wording of it. This is not an error, I'm just saying this is how I would rephrase it to make it more clear.
'Over the course of time, we have voted for many people to serve as moderator at least once, so would you have us vote for every previous moderator again for the sake of tradition?'

Aww, c'mon - that was as corny as they get. Still, feels good to be recognized.
