Yeah, I've finally decided, "What the heck, I'll do it." Or rather, I flipped a coin. And it didn't come up with yes, but oh well. things I'll probably end up doing: a)fix spelling errors b)creative moderation c)try to keep the posts clean, really I will try d)unless my homework becomes too much, I'll continue to read most of the threads and posts e)I need a hobby f)I'm curious as to what mods actually do and what kind of posts they end up censoring
Yeah, I don't guarantee this will happen, but I will give up modship if I know I'm doing a bad job. Oh, and I'll have fun with the news fader, since I got a bunch of quotes I could use or simply say random things.

umm... interesting way of putting up an unlimited clause... essentially you could run a totally totalitarian mod regime, or maliciously change the posts of others and call it *creative moderation*

Great, now I wish I had come up with that! I'll just have to burn the posts that said that you came up with it so there is no proof that we were at war with... wait, I was reliving 1984 for a second. If I'm being evil, I am pretty sure pavel or hte elected mods would do something about it.

so what are you saying? that one shouldn't care whether or not the mods voted will make good mods or not? that if its a bad mod.. pavel will take care of it... and if its a good mod... well all the better? The point of elections is to find someone who will make Modship stand for something... not to degrade it into a mere title that allows for special rights and privelages... Mods must work for the good of the forum even if they arnt needed since that all-pervading forum identity, paveltc, is really behind it all.
not to mention that I was , am and will be forever more, exaggerating for dramatic effect...

I'd be a newbie mod and we don't really know what kind of mod I would end up being. I thought it would be a good idea to point out that if it doesn't turn out well that it wouldn't go on and on until I was out of office so to speak. And if you're going to be dramatic, at least stick to the script and stop giving the prop people such a hard time

Considering you pay them nothing, I think they'll appreciate the change. Until they get their paycheck, that is. Then they'll just blame it on their wages being over taxed and revoult a few times by carrying signs in cirlces. Unfortunatly, few of them realize that they signs they'll be carrying proclaim "I'm secretly a transvestite"

Reasons its bad for me if I was a newbie mod: a)I'm computer stupid. b)I'd be really tempted to try to ban myself. c)I'm very computer stupid. d)I could end up being a mean mod that will point out that disclaimers for things that have innapropriate content doesn't exactly work out. Or at least thats what I remember from reading the little important thing on the Humor board...
Now the world might know.

NO!!! if the world knows, then that means they are educated... and if they are educated, we must give them power... therefore we must take away the power we would have given to you and give it to the world.

A world full of mods? Wow, that sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. I get the feeling proboards would die if everyone of the world was a moderator on this forum and showed up regularly
