I'd say I wouldn't trust you as far as I could throw you, but I could throw you too far.
On a more serious note: Please, for the love of whatever, don't just ignore the forum till it's voting time and then try and run. It's just a waste of space, nobody will vote for a stranger. Being a moderator is like comunity service, nobody will like you if you volunteer to do it and then just leave.

I don't mean that you have to post every day, but be at least a participating member of the forum (i.e., at least post in the last year or so). It's like Osama running for president, it just doesn't make sense (though I'd prefer him over Bush).

That proves That Man's first post. Also, I do believe that it was the wonderful linguistic tool known as sarcastic exaggeration when he said "(i.e. at least post in the last year or so)..."

well... still lev disproves his rule. Lev hadnt posted in a long time. came back on election day. got elected, and then became once again a regular forum-goer.

well... still lev disproves his rule. Lev hadnt posted in a long time. came back on election day. got elected, and then became once again a regular forum-goer. Yeah, but Lev has never posted anything that needed moderation, and I think he had actually posted recently just not often at all. As for choosing Osama over Bush, I was, of course, exagerating, but if Bush continues with his current plan of exuberant spending and complete disregard for debt, the US is doomed anyway. We need to bring back Clinton...or clone Abraham Lincoln. Edit: I just noticed Blue's sig. Notice how he avoids the censor by adding unnecessary periods. The censor is there for a reason, I'd expect better behavior from someone running for moderator.

but... The censor normally works with any combination of that words. Whether or not it has spaces should hardly matter. (for example) aslkjdfakljdf**klkajsdasd still is censored. My guess is that the moderators either did not censor "donkey" because of its use in "assume", or more probably, found a creative way to censor it, like by censoring "ass " with a space at the end. Wait what?!? this makes no sense... how do they censor it in the first instance without doing it in the second? ok, there obviously is a censor but it totally confuses me.

Ali, think about words like 'harass' and other words that contain the 3 letter word for donkey. If we just censor those three letters, then it gets censored in those words too. Thus, there are ways to avoid it.

that is what I was saying... but I have no idea how the censor works, since it is able to censor "ass" but not "ass "
How does the extra space prevent the censor!? I have no idea.
