Hello Everybody I decided to go into retirment because I was sad and tired. Hobbits have taken over the world and there didn't seem to be anything I can do. Henceforth, I have decided to stride into battle and if I am elected as mod I will raise forum activity and begin a massive campaign filled with booze, hamsters, leather, ropes and late night halo 2 orgies!!! How can you resist voting for me with all that going for me?

kimisa.. the elections are over already.
I think that maybe I should completely rehaul the news fader so other people dont get confused.

We ARE all scottish, outside Toronto and Vancouver at least. But I don't think they're are many hobbits outside of the woodland. Course kimi's Uni is most well known for partying and getting stoned, second only to how gorgeous it is. But still, I think hes a pothead now....

That was me, Alex again, btw. And I just noticed that regardless of the newsfader, the elctions should be taken off the calender

I agree, I can't delete it though. I think it is a design flaw that entries can't be edited.

The mod elections were clearly last friday on the calander though.

Well the calender clearly sucks for alot of reasons from design, but you or pavel still needs to delete it. Well actually its not really a need, kimiisa is the only one liable to be confused by that

I can't delete it myself. It isn't like a regular post. I would have done so if I could.

Nope I guess the calander can be spammed, since theres no way for me to delete entries there either. I also would like to point out that theres no reason to delete entries just because they are old since with the calander, the date of the entry is clearly labeled (it IS a calander). What Im trying to say is I dont understand what this "deleting stuff from the calander" is all about, unless I missed someone spamming it.

The thing is that if you don't click on it, people (at least certain people) could be confused because at teh bottom of the main page it still lists the mod election, even though it has past

I think that is the biggest flaw with the proboards calendar. It doesn't take it off afterwards.
