Over the summer i'm going to try and learn some stuff about coding games and such, and hopefully make very very minor progress on a tactical MMORPG that i have in mind, and i would like some feedback on the ideas i have so far
Fighting - PvP would be restricted, you can't just kill anyone anywhere, but you can in some situations, not sure about that yet, open to suggestions
Leveling - Currently i'm thinking that mobs wouldn't be free-roaming but there would be spots that you would go to and click something, menu pops up and you choose your fight, which takes you into a grid-based tactical turn based fight, though i need to find ways for players to have to fight when they're not trying to
Crafting - Anyone can craft, but they need gems of the right element to do it, and the logical components for the item
Races -
Krin (if alex doesn't mind me using the name) - cat people
Humans
Elves
Dwarves
Gnomes
Ra'nok - lizards
maybe more, need ideas
Stats -
Strength
Dexterity
Agility
Constitution
Mind
Intelligence
Luck
Rating (you can rate people up or down, anonymously if you like)
Worlds - there would be multiple worlds with portals connecting them
Transportation - Plenty of teleport spells, portals, ships, caravans, etc...
Shops - You can own an actual shop in a town that would be staffed by NPCs which can be killed, but the owner of the store is notified if the NPC is attacked or killed
Communication - Typical channels for chat and built in voice support that can be disabled if you want to
