Quiet and peaceful I saw earth from space Silent and thoughtful I could not find my place
I saw one thousand stars Then one hundred more Why did they reach so far? What were they searching for?
Just resting in the meadow Lying on soft ground I wished I could know All the secrets to be found
Shooting stars forever play In the endless galaxy Stars know their way If they could just show me...
What will be my direction? Perhaps the stars can see My exact connection With the world around me
I then saw one star gleaming Lighting up the night It did not know life's meaning But it was filled with light
I did not know my pathway And maybe never could But now, I surely can say That my path is true, and good
Just sitting in the meadow On a peaceful night Not knowing my future road But knowing it is right

Marla is the mistress of rhyming. ^^= It's really pretty, hun and an interesting topic. I think that it would be a nice song too because the rhyming gives it a very musical rhythm.
