This is a thread that is free to be moved btw.
Anywho, the banners were having ads for studio ghibli and kiki's delivery service. For those of you who don't know, studio ghibli did some great moves like princess monoke, totoro, and spirited away to name the ones you might know. Lesser known ones are sometimes even better, but i don't know the names

To add to the list, there's also Nausicaa, the one about the sky castle (the name escapes me), Porco Rosso, and The Cat Returns (or some similar title). We'll also be seeing a new one soon, called Howl's Moving Castle.
David, I'm guessing that you're reffering to the banners, since Appleseed was made by a different bunch of people.

Has anyone here seen "Read or Die"? (the movie, not the TV show) Despite its lack of plot and incoherent pace, I found it most enjoyable.

I borrowed it from Geneva (indirectly, but with permission) and I enjoyed it. In fact, I'm morbidly curious as to what Beethoven's Suicide Symphony sounded like.
but I think it was the TV show...

I managed to find a review of Moving Castle, so it may be in theatres now. We'll have to see it. (since it's anime and not pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, etc. it never gets advertised and doesn't get played in Century Theatres)
