Uh... what else would you do it in? Photoshop is the best (non 3D) art program for the computer (to my knowledge).

Uh... what else would you do it in? Photoshop is the best (non 3D) art program for the computer (to my knowledge). Well, painter or Correl Paint 8 are the standards for digital painting. Photoshop is designed for image editing more so than actually drawing graphics from scratch. The difference is the features. Paint and Correl Paint 8 have more capabilities that make digital painting have realistic paint effects. CP 8 actually even has a "pallet" where you can mix your own colors.

eh, thats actually a very common feature. MS Paint lets you do that too. I believe PS does aswell

What Paint has is not a pallet but rather a very broad colour-picker.

isnt a pallet basicly a color picker? unless you mean that MS Paint doesnt have something that resembles a pallet

She meant a pallet where you can specifically MIX colours.

Geneva- ^^ That means a lot coming from you.
Yes, Alexei was right. Of course every drawing/editing program has a simple pallet. In Corel Painter, just as if you were really mixing paint, you can mix up your own colors. This is useful because the point of Corel is to allow you to make your digital works have a more natural look to the, as if they were done by non-digital media. To really get this effect, however, you have to mix your own colors.

personally there is only one slight touch I would have made were I you. Instead of making the hands turn into a trunk (which make it seem as though she would need to do a handstand in order to turn into a tree) you could have turned the fingers into branches... If you were ever to revise it, that would be the only thing you could really do. Otherwise.... GOOD JOB!
