The thought of the journey through next week with my sore throat and head ache seems just like that. Looks like its from a video game. Nice post WWII Dresden look.

Y-ep. Only it's more greyish. Plus rain. Otherwise...yeah. Great job I think some light parts of some buildings should be dimmer, it almost gives me the impression of a sunny day (disregarding the black sky).

MARLA SAYS (because Steph is too lazy to log out):
Only if you look at life that way.
Though, it is alright to feel that way some of the time.

That's cool! It has a very nice theme to it because of the colors you used. You aren't that bad at drawing, just need to practice. You have alot of potential.

so far it seems you already have the motivation to draw, all you need is self-discipline and the inspiration, and it seems you get the latter at times. I forced myself to be good at drawings, and people seem to like what I think is crap, so just keep praticing, it helps, and you seem pretty good at taking criticism, which is always a bonus for an artist, and yes, you do have the potential

Heh, thanks. I sure hope I do...I've always wanted to draw. Actually, this picture is one of the better ones I've drawn. But I'm willing to put lots of effort into learning, so yeah.

Thanks! When I took art in middle school (really crappy class), the only thing I could ever do decently is perspective...

Anyway, you asked if we ever felt that way. Hm, a pictures worth a thousand words but I'll see if I can sum it up in less. In my best Sigmund Freud voice: 'You feel like you are fighting to reach a goal you may have lost sight of. You seem lost, and there's nobody around to help you. It's as if all those who have tried to reach the goal before you have all left you in the dust, or been whiped out be some mysterious catastrophy. Or maybe your travelling down a road that you are unsure where it'll take you, but so far it seems it'll just end in more ruin...' If I'm right in what you're trying to say then sorta yes sometimes. Part of it might just be the weather. Sometimes, even though I like winter and fall, I get a bit more depressed and morose. But maybe I'm way off track of what you're saying anyway...
