I want the theme for next week's radio show to be "Brush With Fame", songs that reference overtly or secretly other famous people. It's more common than you think. So far I have all the ones I can think of (these are to give you of an idea of what I'm looking for): Don McLean- American Pie, Billy Joel- We Didn't Start the Fire, Elton John- Candle in the Wind (it references Marilyn Monroe not Princess Di.), and a couple other obvious ones... (such as Dar Williams- I won't be your Yoko Ono). but I need a few more. Can you think of any I may have missed? (I want to use this theme a lot, but if I don't have enough songs in time for Sunday, that's good too). And don't forget to listen to Vintage Paperclip on orgs.carleton.edu/krlx on Sundays at 1AM

I'll help, but I doubt the songs I list will actually help at all ><''
Staind-Layne--> Layne Staley of Alice In Chains (now deceased)
Cold-The Day Seattle Died--> Kurt Cobain (who died on the same day as Layne Staley, just eight years earlier)
Five Iron Frenzy-Mr. Farenheit--> Freddy Mercury
Five Iron Frenzy-You Probably Shouldn't Move here--> Val of the W's
and that is all my brain can remember
