Yes, I started writing these the other day. You might recall that I once posted a program that I called wind chimes, which did something similar. The major difference is that these maintain steady rhythm. Right now I'm working on a revision that allows the user to pick a chord progression and meter, and have the script improvise in a human manner with changing chords.

Nice experiment, but I don't like the music very much. It just doesn't go anywhere. Is drak.mp3 based on bassandlead_wt.swf?
