It's all just random chance. It's like Russian rullette (sp?), but with 35 loaded chambers and one empty.

Would people believe me ifI said I got to picking the number square thing before I died...? I sorta skipped past the whole extra stuff places and managed to guess the code number...but I got fed up with clicking squares that i went back and died a couple o times. *sigh*

The number of times you die is directly proportionate to how easily distracted you are, not to mention a bit of luck.

Actually that is untrue. (Unless you mean the more distracted you are the less you die)
Because someone who is easily distracted would just go watch TV before they even entered the house.
Also, I think being more meticulus or curious means more deaths, because you just have to try everything.
